Why this training is Unique?
In this shrinking economy, finding a job seems like Mission Impossible. What you may not know is that big Pharmas and Contract Research Organizations(CRO) are trying very hard to recruit experienced SAS programmers with attractive salary offer. How to define "experienced"? Certifications alone are not enough. What you need are industry knowledge, pharmaceutical terms and jargon, and solid programming skills. Those are SAS Pro do everyday and those are big Pharma looking for.
I myself once tried SAS training before. I paid 1500 usd for 35 hours and thought I would actually become a SAS programmer. No, I knew NOTHING. I did not know how to derive and validate data sets, and then generate tables and listings. All I knew are sample codes from books, and lots of SAS commands. Those means nothing to big Pharma.
So here I come. In my over 50 hours training class, I will first quickly walk you through basic SAS grammars and commands then spend around 10 hours to cover what you need to know for daily jobs about SQL and SAS Macros. In the rest 30 hours, I will focus on teach you how to read protocols and SAP, walk through my old programs and then you will actually start to do programs. Yes. I will watch every student to derive datasets, and then generate tables and listings. Line by Line and Code by Code.
My goal is not to train you with every details of SAS grammars. My goal is to teach you what you really should know and tricks I used. My goal is to prepare you ready for SAS programmer jobs starting tomorrow!!
Of Course, I will provide you necessary raw data and my old programs as samples. And I will walk through them to explain logic and traps. All you need to bring are passion and focus.
Notes:
1)The next available class will be on Mid May. For better learning quality, the class size will only be limited to around 8 students.
2)For long distance students, we provide accommodation in apartment for free.
Updates on 15APR2012: right now less then 4 spots available. Please hurry up if you are really interested.
